About

What Can Possibly Go Wrong is a book that kids and adults can read together and talk about, to help kids be safe.  It started as a hand drawn book for a grandson. Then many people who saw it wanted a real book.

When we decided to produce an actual book we had grand children, nieces, great nieces, neighbourhood children and  adults helping to bring this book to life.

Now semi retired John has had a long career in personnel Management with Fletchers and Lucas. University educated and heavily involved in Industrial Health and Safety.

Michelle has worked as a chef, a nanny. For over 25 years Michelle worked in the   Supermarket and Hospitality sectors  involved in  Health and Safety as well as writing and managing Food Safety programs. Michelle is HACCP qualified.

The pilgrimage started in  Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in Southern France and took us  40 days!
We  have been together for thirty years, our first 'date' was a 4-day canoe trip down the Whanganui River. On a six-year working holiday in the United Kingdom we were married at Gretna Green in Scotland. Although both of our parents were Kiwi's, we both had a Scottish grandparent.

In 1990 we both attended art lessons under Jan Alldritt-Miller who is such a great tutor  and have both painted with some enthusiasm since. When we returned from England we had a bed and breakfast in the Marlborough Sounds for six years and our paintings were carried far and wide by our art loving guests!

Michelle has finished a first draft of an international crime novel but her ability to do the rhyming verses in ''What can possibly go wrong' took us all  by surprise!
We are most fortunate to live overlooking the sea in, Auckland New Zealand.

We both play the ukulele and are part of a community group called 'Heavenly Ukuleles'. We play at retirement villages and at community charity events, we both love the ukulele!
